Jericho is a spy game played by two teams of people in public (in secret!). It was conceived in the minds of two college students and was first played in a mall in Longmont, Co., in 1991 with dart guns from the dollar store. Not much has changed in the last 20 years; the Nerf guns are just a little more yellow than they used to be. Jericho is still played the original way monthly in San Francisco. Join the worldwide Jericho community on Facebook or host your own game.
Foxhound Urban Adventures offers a deluxe four-hour version of this game called Jericho San Francisco that equips each agent with real spy gadgets and is set in the heart of the most iconic neighborhoods in San Francisco. Jericho SF is ideal for visitors to San Francisco who want to see the sights, and are looking for something unique and adventurous. Locals who are looking for something fun and social also have a great time!
We offer the following editions of Jericho San Francisco:
Jericho San Francisco: Operation Rendition is the story of two countries (China & Cuba) that battle for the fate of a mole that needs to get out of the country, fast. They’ve hired independent contract agents (you) to help them get the information they need to accomplish this mission. Locations: Downtown Shopping District, Financial District, Chinatown, North Beach, and Fisherman’s Wharf. When: Weekends, 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Jericho San Francisco: Operation Bishop is the story of a stolen code breaking device that our two old rivals (China vs. Cuba) are fighting to retrieve on the darkened streets of San Francisco. All your skills as an agent will be tested as you battle in our first set of night missions! Locations: Embarcadero Waterfront, SoMa, Financial District, Chinatown, Downtown Shopping District. When: Friday night, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Jericho San Francisco: Operation Kingfisher puts you right back into the old rivalry between Cuba & China, as one team tries to start a war that will fracture relations with a third country while the other team tries to avert that war at all cost. Locations: Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Embarcadero Waterfront. When: Sunday, 2 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
